Northern India Journey - Day 12 Jodhpur - 24/12/2010

Woke up a bit early on the day. I went to the clock tower to see the local market. But everything didn't opened yet. Even the highly recommended omelette shop was still not yet opened. So I went to the Mehrangarh Fort. In the fort, there was a beautiful Rajasthani style palace. The most fascinating thing was you can see the old city from there.

On the way to Mehrangarh Fort

The city view from the palace.

An Indian musician performing inside the palace.

When I left the palace, I realised that there was a temple I had missed. Okay, I will go there again in the future. I'm sure. In the gate of the palace, I met the couple who I met in Jaipur!! And I knew that they would take the same train to go to Jaisalmer. Great. I got another mates to visit with me.

After that, I went back to the clock tower. The Omelette Shop opened now. The owner was very friendly and showed me his note book which many tourists wrote their comment about the food. Quite interesting. But if you ask me about the food, I would say fine. I had also gone to a Lassi Shop which is very famous there. The lassi was great and tasty.

The shop.

My room. Very messy, right? :D

Before the night, I went to the "new city" to visit around. When I back to hostel, I took a small dinner as last night I felt so bad that I was afraid I fell sick again. But it did!!! Actually people were celebrating the Christmas Eve. And I missed it!! But, at least, that was the last day I was ill in the India trip.
